Sail away to Solomons , a picturesque island town nestled in the joining of the Patuxent River and the Chesapeake Bay in Calvert County Maryland.

Do you like Lighthouses?  Solomons boasts one of the last remaining "screwpile" lighthouses that used to dot the Chesapeake Bay and adjoining rivers.  The Drum Point Lighthouse on the grounds of the Calvert Marine Museum is open year-round, every day weather permitting except on holidays.  The Calvert Marine Museum also provides tours of the Cove Point Lighthouse just a few miles up the road.
